Farrah...

A native of Texas with a Texas size smile to match...our beloved Angel...

The Austin American Statesman did a lovely tribute to our home grown Texas girl today. Farrah has become a true legend in Texas. As a child, children in her neighborhood would come to her home just to look at her. When she arrived at The University of Texas, the fraternity pledges would line up around the block to try and get a chance to ask her on a date. Eventually, she was named "One of UT's 10 Most Beautiful" and her picture appeared in the local newspaper. That is when Hollywood came calling and the world became her stage.

Farrah was the face of Ultra Brite toothpaste, Wella Balsam, Mercury Cougar...and then, one of Charlie's Angels.

Some may not know that Farrah is an accomplished artist who took her artistic talent very seriously. Her work has appeared in the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. I think she used her art to show the world the substance behind the blinding smile and gorgeous face.
This description by Gerard P. Lebeda says it well, "she moved like a radiant glow of intense light that you couldn't help but be drawn to."
Perfect description of an Angel to me.
Love,
Henri

  1. Hi Henri! Great tribute post! Gosh, I'm quite sure I had ALL of the Charlie's Angels trading cards when I was a little girl! Two of my friends and I always pretended we were them, I was Kelly! :-)
