I woke up this morning and bolted out of bed. Wow! I had a great feeling of happiness and inspiration too...double Wow!! For the past several days I have been feeling the urge to do a blog post. Now, for anyone who follows my posts, you all know that I am not a "daily blogger." I usually post when I get a creative urge and get an idea that I feel might inspire others. (Not that there isn't constant inspiration; but, maybe I am just a wee bit lazy...;P). Anyway, I felt like this would be a great day to post a dialogue that I recently had with my friend and "Super Coach," Hemal Radia.
We became friends as the result of Twitter and my blog. When I first began to Twitter, I looked at who was following me, and Hemal's name appeared as a Twitter follower. I checked out his Tweets, which led to his blog, and I ended up quoting Hemal in my post that particular day, (http://bit.ly/75aFxI). I then directly Tweeted him and told him I had included his words of advice in my post that day, and he proceeded to post it on his Facebook wall. (For a relatively new blogger, this was like a "blogging miracle." As many of my fellow bloggers know, your blog usually has the readership of approximately one...that being you!) haha!
Well from that point forward, the rest has been history. Hemal's inspiration and friendship have become invaluable. Additionally, I have had the great opportunity to become a "formal client."
Recently, I had written to Hemal that I felt like I had completely fallen out of alignment and was in a bit of a low place, basically "crashing". He came back with an amazing note regarding just what was needed to get "back in the saddle," so to speak. I took his advice, created a Top 10 list of his recommendations and sent it back to him as reinforcement for myself and as a "gift" for him to actually view his "coaching advice."
The following is the Top Ten List that I created from his recommendations:
1.) Be light and easy with myself/yourself. The easier I allow myself to be, the better I feel. 2.) No beating yourself up...stay away from quicksand. 3.) Relax and know it is okay to concentrate on "me". (By the way, LOVE yourself...you are supposed to, in case no one ever told you that!) 4.) Get rid of unwanted thoughts by thinking of being in the "NOW". 5.) Begin thinking of one wonderful thing to appreciate and then add more to the list. 6.) Good thoughts = Positive flow 7.) Do things that genuinely feel good to you. 8.) Do things that energetically have value for you. 9.) Allow yourself to create personal well being doing the things you love. 10.) Find yourself a "Super Coach," like Hemal Radia...:)
Here is the link to Hemal's blog post on our correspondence, broken down with some great explanations: http://bit.ly/8nMqZL. If you have a chance, do yourself a favor and check out his blog...it has tons of great information to help you lift yourself into a very positive place.
Hope you have a great weekend...
Love,
Henri
